Distinctive Features of the Voice of Adam Sandler as Count Dracula in the Hotel Transylvania series

This is the second showing of the trademarks of someone's voice. It is for if you can't remember what to use for your impressions. These are the trademarks of Adam Sandler's voice in Hotel Transylvania . - Loving dramatic approach - Good-hearted, energetic and ambitious performance - Rhythmic melodic cadence - Low vocal range - Heavy vocal weight - Gravelly baritone register - Low octave - Playful sarcastic tone - Dynamic expressive delivery - Baritone voice type - Kavalierbariton voice subtype - Low pitch - Moderate volume - Rich smooth timbre - Low tessitura - Clear precise articulation - Variable voice pace - Deep raspy voice - Thick Transylvanian accent

Voice Description of Christopher Lloyd as Rasputin in Anastasia

This one is something I don't want for Rasputin not only because his performance is too scary but also because Mickey Rourke is the better pick since he used a Russian accent in Iron Man 2 . Anyway, here is the next voice just for you. By the way, it is my inspiration for the voice and quasi-Russian accent of Nikolai Omovich, my arrogant bad guy in one of my Monty Python Junior plays...if you’re missing those Russian tones. Christopher Lloyd as Rasputin in  Anastasia - Rasputin's voice is a reflection of his mystical nature. It is deep and gravelly with a Russian accent and has a wide range of pitch variation. His whispers sound like a combination of crumpled paper, crackling fire and a sore throat. His voice has a low tessitura that makes people feel uneasy. His low octave makes people want to look away from him.

Distinctive Features of the Voice of Brad Garrett as Auguste Gusteau in Ratatouille

This is my first time showing the trademarks of someone's voice. It is for if you can't remember what to use for your impressions. These are the trademarks of Brad Garrett's voice in Ratatouille . - Wise good-hearted approach - Gifted, sage and discerning performance - Steady smooth cadence - Low vocal range - Heavy vocal weight - Gravelly bass register - Low octave - Authoritative scholarly tone - Pleasent learned delivery - Bass voice type - Lyric basso profondo voice subtype - Low pitch - Loud volume - Low gruff timbre - Low tessitura - Clear confident articulation - Moderate voice pace - Deep booming voice - Thick French accent

Voice Description of Robert De Niro as Fearless Leader in The Adventures of Rocky and Bullwinkle

This next voice is really magnificent. It is so good I praised the matching accent that goes with Pottsylvania, which is, in fact, based on Russia, so here it is just for you. Robert De Niro as Fearless Leader in The Adventures of Rocky and Bullwinkle - A deep baritone voice with a Russian accent, this interpretation of Fearless Leader demonstrates how to effectively come across as both intimidating and less than intelligent at the same time. Fearless Leader's voice also implies he has an inherent impatience with his subordinates Natasha Fatale and Boris Badenov. His gravelly register is frightening whenever he yells, but sometimes changes to being more squeaky and high-pitched.

Ray Winstone as Mr. Beaver in The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe

Mr. Beaver is a beaver who helps lead the children to Aslan, the lion who created Narnia. Ray Winstone's voice as Mr. Beaver is gravelly and high-pitched. His performance is dramatic, comical and entertaining. He used a Mark Hamill approach and he has a Cockney accent. All voice actors who have wide vocal ranges and multiple vocal registers should use that voice as inspiration for their characters' voices. For instance, Garry Chalk for his voice as the God of Death in Tad the Lost Explorer and the Deadly Treasury of Captain Maugrim and Richard Newman for his voice as Robotnik in Joker and Friends: A B*Bot Adventure . The male members of Monty Python Junior, the acting troupe I'm creating, will try to impersonate the voice.

How to sound like: Willem Dafoe as Rat in Fantastic Mr. Fox

The next voice is Willem Dafoe as Rat in Fantastic Mr. Fox, which I don't want. 1) Use a deep and raspy voice with a Cajun accent that represents he is a villain that has a rivalry with Mr. Fox when it comes to Felicity Fox. 2) Use a sinister and psychotic tone. 3) Use a vicious, violent and arrogant performance. 4) Use an meanspirited and cruel approach. 5) Use a gritty and rough timbre. 6) Use a baritone register and a baritone voice type. 7) Use a slow deliberate cadence. 8) Use a low vocal range, a low octave, a low pitch and a low tessitura. 9) Use a dramatic baritone voice subtype. 10) Use a moderate vocal weight. 11) Use loud volume. 12) Use a normal voice pace. 13) Use a clear precise articulation. 14) Prepare the role like Sam Rockwell as William "Wild Bill" Wharton in The Green Mile . 15) Imagine yourself as a rat living in an attic/cider cellar with a group of rats and guards cider from intruders so he can drink some or as a sadistic New Orleans gangster who is...

Treasure Planet: Where Pirate Movies Never End

Treasure Planet is a movie about pirates. It stars Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Brian Murray, David Hyde Pierce, Martin Short, Roscoe Lee Browne, Emma Thompson, Michael Wincott, Laurie Metcalf and Patrick McGoohan. It should be an adult animated romance movie about Jim Hawkins and Captain Amelia in love. Silver should be voiced by Éric Cantona because he has name recognition and is a bigger name star than his French actor, Jacques Frantz. Jacques Frantz will, however, use his voice as Silver for Hamegg in Astro Boy . Scroop should plan on raping Captain Amelia and be voiced by François Damiens because he has name recognition and is a bigger name star than his French voice actor, Pascal Renwick. Pascal Renwick will, however, use his voice as Scroop for Kaa in Joker & Friends . The women in the movie should have big breasts and big butts which would make them sexier. The characters, however, are fantastic and so is everything else, including all international dubs of this movie. I am going...

Voice Description of Ty Burrell as Nicodeme Savoy in Lackadaisy

This one is an idea that I came up with for Lackadaisy as I was not happy with the cast because all of the actors were not familiar to audiences (except for Malcolm Ray, who I don't want due to his association with the movie and TV review show that was created by Doug Walker,  Nostalgia Critic ) along with the cast of Helluva Boss and  Hazbin Hotel , which ironically also stars Michael Kovach, who not only plays Angel Dust, which I don't want, but also Rocky Rickaby, which I also don't want. For Nicodeme Savoy, I thought of him as "sounding like Ty Burrell with a Cajun accent" so I decided to put in the next voice just for you. By the way, it is my inspiration for the voice (and accent) of Danny St. James, my cocky party animal in one of my Monty Python Junior plays...if you’re missing those Cajun tones. Ty Burrell as Nicodeme Savoy in Lackadaisy - Confident, low and almost lazy sounding in delivery with a distinct Cajun accent. He and his sister should sound l...

Voice Description of Liev Schreiber as Kingpin in Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse

This one is something I don't want for Kingpin, but instead want for Baron von Sheldgoose because one, I picture the Spider-Verse version of Kingpin being British with a matching accent and two, Wayne Knight's voice is not suitable for Baron von Sheldgoose, whose voice is better for Riza in the US dub of Bad Cat . Anyway, here is the next voice just for you. By the way, it is my inspiration for the voice and thick New York accent of Monarch, my monstrous bad guy in one of my Monty Python Junior plays...if you’re missing that New York-esque accent. Liev Schreiber as Kingpin in Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse  - A deep gravelly voice with a thick New York accent, this interpretation of Kingpin contains a gravitas that underlies his pain and humiliation. He has a menacing undertone and his vocal range and deep register causes many people to feel a chill down their spine. Although he may be smiling on the outside, his voice betrays his outward appearance and tells the other cha...

Voice Description of Joanna Lumley as Dr. Olivia Octavius in Spider-Man: Spider-Verse

The next voice is something that popped into my head for an animated movie for adults. Joanna Lumley as Misket in Bad Cat - Deep, low and sexy sounding in delivery with a distinctive British accent. She should sound like she is using her sensual bedroom voice and is accustomed to being with someone.

Voice Description of Johnny Depp as Dr. Nefarious in Ratchet & Clank

The next one is an idea that popped into my head because upon hearing Armin Shimerman in Ratchet & Clank (2016), I felt his voice was now too scratchy for the character. It would be no duplicate of Armin Shimerman, but it will work great. Johnny Depp as Dr. Nefarious in Ratchet & Clank  (2016) - A loud and pompous voice that believes he is hilarious even when no one laughs with him. He reminds me of a mix of Roy Rooster from Garfield and Friends, Mayor Humdinger from Paw Patrol and Martin Short.

Voice Description of Andy Serkis as Frankie in Shark Tale

Although I have my own ideas about what each of them sound like, I don’t really want to color the characters’ voices so definitively as to rattle off a list of actors. I’d much prefer readers to draw their own conclusions about what they sound like based on their manners of speaking, their personalities and gestures. In an effort to compromise, I’ll post all the character voices, even the "What if" ones. I guess I would say these are ‘loose guidelines’ and hopefully leave room for everyone’s individual interpretations: Andy Serkis as Frankie in the UK dub of Shark Tale - Flatly says exactly what he means in a deep, low, graveling voice with a heavy London accent. Words like "Oi" and "mate" that don't exist in American languages are frequently used in his speech. The British slang words such as "gobsmacked" and "kerfuffle" are used for him as well.

The Nightmare Before Christmas: Where Holidays Never End

The Nightmare Before Christmas is a movie about holidays like Halloween and Christmas. It stars Chris Sarandon, Catherine O’Hara, William Hickey, Ken Page, Paul Reubens, Glenn Shadix and Ed Ivory. Oogie Boogie is similar to Pitch Black, who is the bogeyman and King Dice in Cuphead , who gambles. Santa Claus should be played by Christopher Lloyd because he has name recognition and is a bigger-name actor than Ed Ivory. The movie has Jack Skellington trying to bring Christmas to Halloween Town. The plot is really weird in a good way. The characters are fantastic and the performances done in every dub by the actors are wonderful. I would recommend this movie to my girlfriend Val from Maywood School to help her do impersonations and my grandfather.

Tim Curry as Long John Silver in Muppet Treasure Island

Long John Silver is a duplicitous but smooth-talking pirate posing as a chef, who mentors Jim until he is overheard by Gonzo, Rizzo and Jim, which proves Smollett's suspicions of the crew being of shady character correct. Tim Curry's voice as Long John Silver is booming and thunderous. His performance is straightforward, theatrical and whimsical. He based his voice on his grandfather and he has a West Country accent which makes sense because after all, Silver is a pirate. There's nothing wrong with the voice, but when he sings, it sounds like Tim Curry's natural voice which is very weird. I think it would be better if Tim Curry does his Silver voice when he's singing and speaking or if Disney hired a guy to imitate Tim Curry's voice as Silver when dubbing Tim Curry's singing. All voice actors who have wide vocal ranges and multiple vocal registers should use that voice as inspiration for their characters' voices. For instance, Scott McNeil for his voice ...

How to sound like: Nicolas Cage as Spider-Man Noir in Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse

Here's my next installment of character voice tips. Today we'll do Nicolas Cage as Spider-Man Noir in Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse . 1) Use a low and growly voice with a New York accent and a medium tempo that stereotypes him and represents he is from the 1930s. 2) Use a mysterious and deadpan tone. 3) Use a grizzled, hard-boiled and dark performance. 4) Use an intense and dramatic approach. 5) Use a gruff and gravelly timbre. 6) Use a bass register and a bass voice type. 7) Use a slow deliberate cadence. 8) Use a low vocal range, a low octave, a low pitch and a low tessitura. 9) Use a dramatic basso profondo voice subtype. 10) Use a heavy vocal weight. 11) Use loud volume. 12) Use a normal voice pace. 13) Use a clear crisp articulation. 14) Prepare the role like Humphrey Bogart as Sam Spade in The Maltese Falcon . 15) Imagine yourself as a private eye living in the 1930s investigating or a movie director that is larger-than-life charismatic, confident, and Errol Flynn-sty...

Liev Schreiber as Kingpin in Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse

Kingpin is a crime lord who wants to bring back his family through Alchemax when they died in a car crash escaping from him after accidentally walking in on him fighting Spider-Man. Liev Schreiber's voice as Kingpin is deep and gravelly and too New York for the character. His performance, however, is scary, over-the-top and sinister. He used a Mark Hamill approach and he has a thick New York accent. He should be recast with Ray Winstone instead. However, all voice actors who have wide vocal ranges and multiple vocal registers should use that voice as inspiration for their characters' voices. For instance, Richard Newman for his voice as Lord Barnaby in Bugs Bunny's Tales of Adventures and Garry Chalk for his voice as Gobble in A Sesame Street Tale . Liev Schreiber, however, can use his Kingpin voice for his voice as Baron von Sheldgoose in Legend of the Three Caballeros . Liev Schreiber is a wonderful actor, but he would be better off in other roles like Ray Donovan in the...

Elliot the Littlest Reindeer: Where Christmas Never Ends

Elliot the Littlest Reindeer is a story about reindeer and Christmas. It stars the voices of Josh Hutcherson, Samantha Bee, Martin Short, Morena Baccarin, Jeff Dunham and John Cleese. Ludzinka should be voiced by Jessie Buckley (who would use an Eastern European accent) because of the need for a more feminine voice and have big breasts and a big butt which would make her sexier along with other human females. Sasha should be in love with Elliot (who should return her feelings for him) and voiced by Catherine O'Hara because she has name recognition and is a bigger name than Carly Heffernan. DJ should be more like the Duke of Monroth in Moulin Rouge and be voiced by T.J. Miller. There should be a scene similar to School of Rock with Elliot, instead of being taken and flown far away by Hazel, when blamed for canceling the tryouts, doing the same thing Dewey Finn did after being mistaken for a pervert. Everything else, however, is wonderful, including all international dubs of movies...

How to sound like: Colin Farrell as the Penguin in The Batman

Just thought I might go through some voices for you to work on at home. Just remember not to use it too often, especially if you are really good at it and all of you have a special skill and I bet with just a little practice, you'd all make one fine troupe of performers joining Monty Python Junior. Okay, the first voice is Colin Farrell as the Penguin in The Batman so let's get started. 1) Use a deep and gruff voice with a thick New York accent and a variable tempo that gives him a gangster vibe. 2) Use a raspy and guttural timbre. 3) Use a normal voice pace. 4) Use loud volume. 5) Use a low vocal range, a low octave, a low pitch and a low tessitura. 6) Use a baritone register and a baritone voice type. 7) Use a dramatic baritone voice subtype. 8) Use a heavy vocal weight. 9) Use a strong and clear articulation. 10) Use a pompous, threatening and manipulative performance. 11) Use a tough and egocentric approach. 12) Prepare the role like James Cagney in a gangster role. 13) Im...
